Someone is missing from this picture. Shefler has joined us and we are magnificently seven, but there is still someone missing. And that person’s birthday is today! That’s right, free Slurpie day. You guessed it, it’s Aunt Pei Pei!
We think baby Shefler gave her that name at some point, but we’re not sure. Anyway, Aunt Pei Pei moved to San Francisco a few years ago, in part to be nearer her beloved nieces and nephews. How do we show our appreciation for this? By promptly moving away. Nice, right? Here’s how Aunt Pei Pei feels about us leaving the Bay area.
But she works at Facebook now and gets lots of free stuff there, so she’s not feeling too bad. She took us on a tour of the campus once. That was cool.
Aunt Pei Pei is really good at yoga, so we celebrate her birthday with an honorary annual yoga pose. Here we are this year.
Aunt Pei Pei has been there with every one of our kids through thick and thin. We sure do miss her. AND, we can’t wait for her to join us on some leg of our adventure. Like I said, someone is missing from this picture. Happy Birthday, Aunt Pei Pei!
